In addition to the design philosophy which was to live in a tropical garden with holiday style amenities as your everyday home, not as a place just to visit on "holidays":

We have placed emphasis on:

  1. All 29 houses feature luxury finishes (granite counters, ceramic floors), natural wood cabinetry in kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms.
  2. All houses have vaulted ceilings, clear story windows, opening windows (screened) both high and low for flow thru ventilation and tropical ceiling fans in all major rooms.
  3. SS gas stoves stacked laundry units, microwave/exhausts Space saver units, refrigerators, hot water throughout.
  4. Many houses are single story and barrier-free, as well as the grounds itself. Some homes are two stories or are on a second level.
  5. Virtually all homes have covered terraces for dining and outside living.
  6. Direct and indirect lighting.
  7. Fast and reliable Internet / Wifi, which supports international streaming of movies/programs, Internet-based messaging / phone calls and local CableTV.
  8. Two swimming pools, with palm thatched ranchos, BBQs, waterfalls.

Residencias Los Jardines consisting of 29 single stories, detached, semi-detached and attached houses along with two-story houses-detached houses ranging in size from 620 SF to 1,900 SF, one and two bedroom houses is located on 2 1/2 acres along a dead end street in Pozos de Santa Ana, a small town with modern amenities. This is a barrier-free environment for the garden and many of the homes.

Our site has a magnificent view of the mountains and the best climate in the central valley. Here you will find our beautiful homes located in a garden setting with trees, shrubs, and flowers everywhere along with two swimming pools, waterfalls, water fountains, palm thatched ranchos, social areas with BBQs / refrigerators, WiFi, lounge chairs/chaise lounges, etc. Our year-round daytime time temperature is 22C-32C / 70F-85F with nighttime temperatures from 14C-19C / 58F-68F.

We are near grocery shopping, banks, medical facilities, and restaurants as well as a private/public 18 hole golf course. We are 1 hr 15 min to the Pacific beaches and 4 hrs to the Caribbean beaches. We are also 20 mins from the San Jose International airport and 15 min west of San Jose.

Vaulted ceilings up to 16 ˝ ft. high with screened, ventilating windows which allow natural, indirect light in each room while capturing prevailing breezes for cross ventilation in our perfect tropical climate.

Specially designed roof for heat reflection, noise absorption and Spanish clay tile on the terraces to enhance the beauty of the home.

Two, 100 lb. propane concealed cylinders and energy efficient gas demand hot water heater.

Each unit has its own dedicated hot water boiler and electrical meter.

We have a variety of one and two bedrooms each with parking for one car, including granite counters and ceramic floors, each house has lots of natural wood built-in furniture. Our re-sales usually range from $125,000 for one bedroom houses to $225,000 for the larger (1,700 sf) detached houses. Most all include furniture and furnishings.
